An energy label has been mandatory by the government since January 1, 2021 when selling or renting a home. The energy label is valid for 10 years. Homeowners are required to provide a definitive energy label to the buyer or tenant when selling, renting or delivering a home. Energy performance may also be required by the government for renovation or conversion of your home. In addition, mentioning a valid energy label is also mandatory in various advertisements. What is an energy label?

An energy label is a very useful tool that indicates how energy-efficient a home is and which energy-saving measures are possible. The label classes run from A to G. A home with an A label is the most energy-efficient and a home with a G label is the least energy-efficient.
